Clivia plants are quite fussy with soil (they prefer a rich one) and should only be re-potted if their roots have outgrown the pot they are in. Once established, they require regular water and food. In the growing season (early spring to early fall), they expect a lot of warmth, light, water and fertilization. From late fall, Clivia plants need to rest and so should be moved to a cooler spot and watered less. In mid-January they can be placed into sunlight again, and watered as normal; they should bloom in April and flower in Summer.
