Passiflora Ligularis (Sweet granadilla or Granadilla)
Passiflora Ligularis is a perennial evergreen plant valued for its edible yellow-orangey fruits, which also does well as an ornamental plant or as a hedge plant. It's a mostly tender climbing plants that are best given greenhouse treatment, although Passiflora can also be grown outside on trellis work or against walls in sheltered areas. They can grow up to 9mt tall.
After flowering a pollinated plant will bear fruit, known as passion fruit. Most varieties of passiflora flower between mid-summer and late autumn. Warm autumnal weather may prolong flowering of outdoor species. Occasional watering will suffice.
