Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop

  • Wolves Lane

Service Description

Join us on Sunday 6th February at 11:30am-1:30pm! Spend a morning at the peaceful Wolves Lane Centre garden site learning how to make a beautifully boho plant hanger. In a small group, you'll find out about the materials and techniques used in macrame, and learn the knots you need. The workshop is ideal for beginners with easy to follow demonstrations, large scale examples and hands-on help throughout. Goal of this workshop is to create a simple macrame plant hanger. You will leave with a gorgeous piece of fibre art to hang in your own home- or even gift to a plant lover... Plus the skills to carry on creating. All materials provided and from recycled or sustainable sources. Wrap up warm as the site gets chilly! Your facilitator: Nicola From a creative, styling background, Nicola wanted to share the fibre art and home decor images she was working on during the pandemic- and so a small business was born. Prompted to begin selling pieces whilst using her plant hangers at Wolves Lane Centre where she volunteers regularly, Nicola now designs commissions and teaches the techniques. Follow her at @fade_fray_drift for wall hangings, festive decorations and adventures in natural dye...
