Young Learners

Wild Cubs homeschooling group will be running during term time at the Wolves Lane Centre.

When: Weekdays 10am - 1pm

Who: Children and families from 4 to 11 years old.

​

Each week there will be a craft activity, story telling, singing and the chance to explore and learn. 

​

The sessions are £5 per pupil per session. 

​

We ask that families book 4 sessions at a time so that the limited spaces are filled. 

We run 'Bees and Buds' for children under 5 in our Woodland on Friday mornings from 10am to 11.30am.

We'll happily accommodate nursery groups and child minders, and we ask for a minimum donation of £2 a child.

Please let us know if you're bringing a group of children in advance so we can let our staff know.

Wednesdays only

We can offer guided tours and whole day visits, including a range of curriculum-friendly workshops such as:

• sprouting

• harvesting

• your food and its air miles

• composting

• seed sowing

We can provide inside space for your belongings and packed lunches. The price of the workshops ranges from £180 to £510 depending on the number of children and the type of workshop.

We offer a range of services for all your learning needs, including free self-guided tours on our open days! 

We're a working horticultural centre. So, even if you're coming for a self-guided visit, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate you. 

You can visit Wolves Lane Centre for free on Fridays and Sundays when we're open to the public (10am to 3pm).

Our Cactus House, Palm House, Woodland, Café and Shop are all free to visit.

Please let us know in advance as we have limited capacity and you may be turned away if we can't accommodate.
